Holton Village Hall (Charity No: 273526)

Afternoon Teas at the Village Hall.

The coffee mornings and afternoon teas at the Village Hall continue to be a great success. Many thanks to everyone who helps for all their hard work. There will be afternoon teas in May on 1st, 16th and 30th. They will be from 2.30pm until 4.00pm. These events are really well attended so come along for Tea, Coffee, Cake and a chat with friends and neighbours. STOP PRESS.  There will be special tea to commemorate the anniversary D Day and the celebrations of this will be live streamed if possible. Details to follow.

Holton Village Hall AGM (Charity No: 273526) 9th May

The Holton Village Hall AGM will be held at 7:30pm on Thursday 9th May 2024 in Holton Village Hall.  The meeting is open to all residents of Holton and will be a chance to hear what your Village Hall has been up to over the past year and future plans.  Trustees of Holton Village Hall will be elected on the night. The committee are looking for more people to get involved, especially to run events and family activities. If you are interested in finding out more about becoming a trustee of our friendly committee, please email admin@holtonvillagehall.co.uk ideally by 3rd May 2024

Quiz Night 26th April

There will be a Quiz Night at the Village Hall on April 26th. The Bar will be open from 7.30pm for an 8pm start. The cost will be £5 per head but bring your own snacks/ nibbles. For information on teams and how to join one, please contact Brian Dobson on 01865 873036.

Village Hall Spring Clean May 4th 2024

Please note that we have changed the date of the Village Hall Spring Clean. There will be a spring clean day at the village hall now on Saturday May 4th from 10.00am to 1.00pm. The Village hall committee would be very grateful if anyone can come and help during this time. Tea, Coffee and cake will be available.

Jack Turner Talk 24th May

Jack Turner will be coming to the Hall to talk about his latest book and discoveries on Shotover. The Hall will be open from 7pm and his talk will start at 7:30. Refreshments available and Bar open.

Film Night 7th June

Film Night will be back on Friday 7th June and will be a showing of ‘The Great Escaper’ remembering the D-Days centenary. Michael Kane and Glenda Jackson star in this treatment of a true story about a veteran who escapes his nursing home to be in France with old comrades on the anniversary of the landings.

7pm for 7:30. Ticket prices – £5 Adult, Under 18’s £3

Tea, Coffee & Cakes available. The Bar will be open.
